Hi everyone. I am a novelist currently analyzing copywriting and a bit of overall Digital Marketing, and I was thinking of adding a second skill set that would make sense to have to provide clients with additional services and as a scheme B for when the content/ copywriting get slow. I am undecided between going for Front End web development and video editing. Webdev on one hand gives me a whole full situate of employable( apparently on demand) skills, but as such it can also become so overwhelming.
My overall goal is to be employable in Digital Marketing, either as a Copywriter or a more generalist Marketer, so I was wondering If any of you has a combination of copywriting and one of these and if so, how do you manage your learning and overall period.
On the other hand I also have the option of Video Editing, which, since I also write fiction and screenplays sometimes, could be a technically simpler skillset compared to coding, and still offer a good value for creating video marketings letters, editing ads etc.
Am I stretching myself too much? I know that simply Digital Marketing and Copywriting are by themselves a handful already, but there’s this part of me that feels that adding some “hands-on” technical skill would increase my chances of both freelancing and IRL jobs.
Thank you for your help!
